Services for Older Adults
Adults can feel vulnerable as they grow older and more frail... so JFS is there to assist them in leading independent and satisfying lives. Through in-home and office counseling, we help the elderly deal with relationships, changes, losses, and problems in functioning so they may stay at home as long as possible. Our professionals visit the elderly for in home counseling and work with the family members in the assessment of older adults. JFS also has an active role in providing benefits to Holocaust survivors in Greater New Haven.
